Project Overview

This full master bathroom renovation in the Bridlewood neighborhood of Flower Mound transformed a dated primary bath into a modern spa retreat centered around a Kohler Sunstruck freestanding heated bubblemassage air bath. The open-concept wet area features a curbless shower with built-in bench and stacked shampoo niches flowing seamlessly into the tub zone — no curb, no barrier, just continuous Riverbed Fall Stream pebble mosaic underfoot.
The existing shower, tub surround, flooring, vanity, and linen cabinet were completely removed by the homeowner. The Design House then reimagined the entire layout — relocating the shower drain approximately 30 inches and lowering it for the curbless design, moving the tub drain 32 inches for the new freestanding position, and rerouting water lines into the wall for a clean wall-mounted tub filler.

A new double-sink vanity in J&K B6 Pebble shaker-style cabinetry with a full-height linen pantry anchors the dry side, topped with Macbeth 3cm quartz featuring a subtle marble-inspired veining pattern. Every material was selected through The Design House showroom in Denton with a dedicated designer guiding the process.
