Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Meet customers and our designers in our retail environment as well as in-home to discuss cabinetry needs.
  • Produce detailed CAD and rendering drawings for presentation to customers.
  • Review designer’s plans and develop drawings for project manager, schedulers, installers, and tradesman.
  • Produce pricing quotes (via online software) to present to customers and orders to be sent off to the manufacturer.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error-free, revising drawings as necessary to meet all standards.
  • Inquiry to the factory on pre-sales technical questions.
  • Assist the project management team by reviewing and amending orders, drawings, and quotes.
  • Aid in solving planning issues.
  • Track and trace customer cabinet orders.
  • Troubleshoot installation difficulties.
  • Assist with request for information, change orders and resolving customer complaints.
  • Assist with customers in the showroom.
  • Calculate preliminary cabinet costs by using 20/20 software.
  • Create rush orders and purchase requisitions based on approved drawings.
  • Review and amend quotes and confirmations.
  • Communicate with our scheduling team on order fulfillment and delivery information.
  • Expedite replacement and add-on orders.
  • Visit customer’s project to carry out inspections and on-site measures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience.
  • Experience in AutoCAD or 20/20 required.
  • Ability to continually develop computer-assisted drawing skills and product knowledge.
  • Ability to drive and go to jobsites
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Cabinetry experience required.
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking.
  • Initiative and sense of urgency.
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation toward both internal and external customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sales experience would be beneficial but not necessary
  • Strong ability to communicate and multi-task is a must coachable and trainable, attention to detail is a must.
  • Highly organized and able to manage both time and processes
  • Dependable, punctual, and eager to work
  • Extremely detail-oriented and thorough
  • Honest and trustworthy

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with various departments to service customers
  • Take status calls and report back to customers or sales with updates
  • Communicate with our designers from our Retail, Commercial, and Builder Departments

Scheduling:

  • Create project schedules and maintain current dates in shared systems
  • Confirm schedules with outside contractors and customers and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Create production documents such as work order packets for installation crews to use in the field
  • Interact with various departments to service customers

Experience with any of the below preferred:

  • Customer Service &/or Scheduling: 2 years (Required)
  • Construction/flooring/remodeling: 1 year (Preferred)
  • RFMS Software: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Office: 3 years (Required)
  • Excel: 3 years (Required)
  • Outlook: 2 years (Required)
  • Operations Admin: 1 year (Preferred)
